COASTAL EDGE IN BAHÍA INGLESA WILL BEGIN ITS THIRD STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION

In March 2019, the Port Works Directorate announced that the final works in Las Machas coastal areas will begin this year. This seaside was designed by GSI Engineering.

According to the information published by the Port Works Directorate, this coastal edge is the most extensive one in the country in terms of area covered (more than 70 thousand m2), and the total expenditure will reach CLP$ 8,145 million.

This coastal walk project in the Las Machas Beach, Bahía Inglesa, developed by GSI, was conceived with the objective of conquering the sea front for the city, through the improvement of the public space of the edge and the definition of its uses in relation to the beach space, recognizing its environmental and habitability values.
