Basic Project of Wastewater Treatment Plant and Marine Outfall of Fortaleza, Brazil

The GKW Consult – HITA and GSI Engineering consortium developed for CAGECE the basic project for a sewage treatment plant and a marine outfall for the city of Fortaleza.

The design has been completed and GSI was responsible for developing the engineering for a submarine outfall 3,200 m long and 2 m in diameter, for a flow rate of 4,800 L/s, with hydrodynamic and water quality modeling of the receiving body and the maritime hydraulic studies associated with the design of these works.
