LA CHIMBA BEACH AND FISHERMAN'S COVE, ANTOFAGASTA

GSI Engineering design of civil and maritime works, which will be available to the public in 2021.

During this year, the artificial beach La Chimba will be available to the public, with an investment of more than $ 6 billion, will deliver a new public space and green areas to the almost 40 thousand residents who live in the extreme north of Antofagasta. With 270 linear meters, it will be the longest beach in Antofagasta. The design was carried out by GSI Ingeniería, within the framework of a contract with Fundación Chile.

The works include a new fishermen's cove, with a pier, ramp, beach and breakwater, as well as buildings and services.
