RAINWATER MASTER PLAN FOR LA UNIÓN AND RÍO BUENO

The Ministry of Public Works –MOP– through the Directorate of Hydraulic Works (DOH), entrusted GSI Engineering with the preparation of the Consultancy "Master Plan for the Evacuation and Drainage of Rain Waters of La Unión and Río Bueno, Los Ríos Region".

The Master Plan constitutes an element of urban drainage planning for the current urban area and its expansion zones, of both cities, which allows: proposing a comprehensive solution for the current and future situation; define a primary network for the rainwater evacuation and drainage system; estimate associated investments and deliver a prioritization of primary network projects.

The Master Plan proposes the solutions to the current and future problems of evacuation and drainage of rainwater in both cities and allows to avoid new problems, as long as the proposals it recommends are carried out.

The development of the study is planned for the period 2020-2022.
